National rollout of Catchment Approach launched from Beane & Mimram Partnership!
We're delighted to announce that the national rollout of the Catchment Based Approach will be launched from Singler's Marsh, in the Mimram catchment.

A new sculpture trail has been installed at Thorley Wash Nature Reserve
The wooden sculptures depict some of the wildlife that can be seen around the reserve and on the adjacent Stort Navigation.
The barn owl, dragonfly, water vole, woodpecker and otter seat were all commissioned by Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust, who own Thorley Wash, and were carved by local artist Dan Cordell. Read more ...

Timber! Mimram project 19 continues
Contractors started work this morning on Mimram project 19, 'Windows of Vision' at Singlers Marsh, Welwyn.
AG Treecare Ltd have started clearing overshading scrub from alongside the B656 Codicote Road, to allow more light to reach the river. They will also pollard some of the very large trees on the marsh side of the river. Read more ...
